JKSSB approves selection list of 199 Junior Assistants under PM Package, 46 Laboratory Assistants
JAMMU- As a sequel towards fast track recruitment relating to non gazetted posts referred to by various indenting departments and agencies, J&K Services Selection Board (SSB) approved selection list for the 199 posts of Junior Assistant under PM Package and 46 Posts of Laboratory Assistants pertaining to Health Department in its 168th meeting held here today.
Soon after the decision of UT Government directing for opening of Government offices from 20th April, 2020, the Services Selection Board resumed its activities and approved the selection lists for 245 posts relating to Junior Assistants (PM Package) and Laboratory Assistants (Health Department).
Chairman J&K SSB, Khalid Jahangir, chaired the meeting which among others was attended by board members including M. Shafiq Chak, Angrez Singh Rana, Pritam Lal Atri, Harvinder Kour and Controller of Examination JKSSB Musheer Ahmad Mirza.
Secretary, JKSSB, Ranjeet Singh and other officers of the Board assisted the Board in conduct of meeting proceedings.
Pertinently, the above mentioned posts of Junior Assistants are part of the PM Package for Kashmiri Migrants and were referred to the J&K SSB by the Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction while the posts of Laboratory Assistants were referred to by the Health & Medical Department.
It would be relevant to add that the Board since February has released selection lists against more than 1800 posts of various categories which included more than 1100 selections of Health & Medical Education Department in addition to 157 Naib Tehsildars. Moreover, the Board has also released about 150 withheld recommendations giving immense relief to the candidates.
Earlier, the Board in its 164th Board meeting decided to seek preferences from the candidates for the post of Junior Assistants (Migrants) as a special case, to ensure speedy and filling up of maximum vacancies sanctioned under PM Package for Kashmiri Migrants.
